Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of February 18, 1977 includes articles on the ongoing dispute between the administration and the faculty/students, including a printing of the address Lee Hall gave to faculty about the issues and a student response to it; articles on an experimental course proposal, the funciton of a newspaper, the RISD hockey team; an advice column; reviews of a Woods Gerry show and the film "Not a Pretty Picture"; comics; and other announcements.
