Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of October 24, 1975 includes reviews of Francois Truffaut's film "The Story of Adele H.," a Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra concert, and the play "Cathedral of Ice." It also includes an agenda for a student board meeting, a Film Society announcement, and an announcement for a jazz concert by Gary Burton and the John Payne Band for Lee Hall's presidential inauguration.
