Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The Oct. 14th issue celebrates inaugration of RISD Museum's lecture series, Lawrence Alloway speaks at RISD Museum, RISD applications tripled, review of "The 39 Steps" and "One Potato, Two Potato", mission statement from Student Council, Roland Penrose to speak at RISD Convocation, Junior School registration begins, Young Republicans club and Modern Dance club organizes, Panel on the Missisippi Freedom project, Odetta Celebrtity Night event with Max Norath, Ned Riddle, and Peter Nero, Student-led trip to Boston, Dance at Metcalf with Ghost Riders band, Soccer and Basketball annoucements, editorials, opinion columns, and creative writing.
