Abstract
This thesis investigates book arts as a dynamic, interdisciplinary learning tool for young children. It examines how educators can design bookmaking lessons that foster creative storytelling and self-expression through the interplay of form, content, materiality, and process. The research explores choice- and inquiry-based teaching practices in bookmaking that center care and collaboration with young children.
