Abstract

Andy Law, Associate Professor, Industrial Design, was among six ACP Davis Fellows, who each spent eight months in AY 2013–14 developing a research question, designing inquiries, applying them in their spring courses, and assessing student learning outcomes. Andy’s project sought to integrate writing assignments that paralleled the design process into his senior studio. He noted clear improvements in both student writing and work. Graduate Assistant Christina Galvez worked closely with Andy throughout the semester and co-authored this report.
