Description
The Calendar of Art Events of December 1938 includes an article called The Art Libraries of Providence. Providence Public Library, Brown University Library, the RISD Library and the Providence Athenaeum are all mentioned. Art exhibitions, plays, concerts and lectures in Providence are included. Art exhibitions in Massachusetts, the Yale Art Gallery in New Haven and the Museum of Modern Art in New York are also included.
